TESSA Training is an online AI training platform for social care professionals, providing sequential learning modules, knowledge assessments, and CPD certification. The service is delivered via the website tessa-tools.co.uk. Access to certain portions of the platform requires user registration and authentication via magic link email. These terms govern your access to and use of all TESSA Training services.
All content on TESSA Training, including but not limited to videos, text, graphics, logos, module materials, quiz questions, and certificates, is the exclusive intellectual property of Tessa Tools Ltd, unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or transmit any content without our prior written permission. You retain all rights to any original content you submit to us (such as reflective notes), and you grant us a non-exclusive license to use such content to improve our platform.
By using TESSA Training, you represent and warrant that:
To access TESSA Training, you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or engaged in fraudulent activity.
TESSA Training may be accessed on a subscription basis. By initiating a purchase or subscription, you authorise us to charge the stated fee to your payment method. Subscription fees are billed monthly or as otherwise specified. You agree that charges will be made to your account automatically on the renewal date unless you cancel prior to that date. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
Subscription access to TESSA Training is provided on a per-seat basis. Each subscription grants one individual access to the complete training platform. Subscriptions are non-transferable and intended for use only by the named user. Sharing subscription credentials is prohibited. Organisational subscriptions may include multiple seats, and sharing usage data with organisational administrators is a condition of access.
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities on TESSA Training:
TESSA Training may allow you to submit reflective notes, feedback, or other content. You retain all rights to content you generate; however, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content for the purposes of platform improvement and learner analytics. You are solely responsible for any content you submit and warrant that it does not infringe on others' rights or violate applicable law.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of TESSA Training at any time, with or without notice. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily interrupt service. While we strive for 99% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, outages, or maintenance windows. If we discontinue the service in its entirety, we will provide notice and a pro-rata refund of unused subscription fees.
Your use of TESSA Training is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these terms. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our data practices. In the event of a conflict between these terms and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy governs the handling of your personal information.
These terms commence when you create an account and continue for as long as you use TESSA Training. We may terminate your access immediately if you breach material terms of this agreement. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. After termination, we may delete your account and associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as Intellectual Property Rights, Limitations of Liability, and Governing Law) will survive.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of TESSA Training after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must discontinue use and may cancel your subscription.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflicts of law principles. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes by contacting us at hello@tessa-tools.org. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, you may pursue formal proceedings in the English courts as outlined in Section 13.

TESSA Training is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform or its content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tessa Tools Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of TESSA Training, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not permit limitations of liability, so this limitation may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tessa Tools Ltd and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of TESSA Training, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any rights of third parties.
You acknowledge that your training data, quiz scores, and profile information are stored on our secure servers and are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for downloading and preserving copies of any data you wish to retain, as we cannot guarantee indefinite storage.
By registering for TESSA Training, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including transactional emails (login links, module notifications, certificate notifications) and service updates. You may opt out of non-transactional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Tessa Tools Ltd and supersede all prior understandings, whether written or oral. No failure or delay on our part in exercising any right shall operate as a waiver thereof. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our written consent.
